This October, our Chairman, Mr Michael Oluwagbemi, visited Ekiti State as part of his annual educational outreach, with visits to Odo Oro Community High School and Government Secondary School, Usi-Ekiti.
During the visits, books, Nigerian flags, and shirts were distributed to students and teachers to support learning and encourage a positive attitude towards education.
The Chairman also spoke to the students about the importance of taking their education seriously, being disciplined, and working hard to achieve their goals. He encouraged them to believe in themselves and make good use of the opportunities they have, reminding them that their efforts today can shape their future.
Encouraging Young People Through Education
Education plays an important role in shaping the future of every child. Beyond providing learning materials, the outreach was an opportunity to encourage students to stay focused, work towards their dreams, and understand the value of the education they receive.
We also recognise the important role teachers play in guiding and supporting students. Their commitment helps young people gain the knowledge, confidence and values they need to succeed
Promoting Patriotism and Responsible Citizenship
As part of the outreach, the distribution of Nigerian flags served as a reminder of the importance of patriotism and responsible citizenship.
The Chairman encouraged the students to be proud of their country, respect others, and understand that they also have a role to play in building a better Nigeria. He reminded them that this begins with being responsible, taking their studies seriously and developing good values.
